One of the perks of working at a school is that I get all of the holidays off, but even though I had 2 weeks off I opted to stay at home for the holidays. So this year was my first holiday with just me and the husband.
This year we counted down the days to Christmas with our very own Lego Star Wars advent calender.

I attempted to make a mulled wine for Christmas, but it was a little too spicy for our tastes. Next year I'll stick to egg nog.

My uncle and (nearly) aunt sent us some home-made ginger snap cookies for Christmas all the way from Kansas. They were still good!
