When Lladybird and Untangling Knots announced that they would be doing a summer outfit along (sewing Simplicity 1803 and knitting Untangling Knots' Myrna cardigan), I thought it was the perfect excuse to create a cute cotton day-dress that I could maybe even wear to work. Initially I was really enamored with the Zooey Deschanel dress, but eventually I decided that the neckline might be a little too much for my beginning sewing skills to mess with.
