One of the things I miss most about living in Europe is watching Eurovision, a Europe-wide song competition pitting acts representing each country against one another to determine which has the best song and performance. This competition helped launch ABBA, but these days it's more famous for it's more wacky performances like acts featuring Babushka women baking bread.
This year the United Kingdom seemed like it had a viable contender to the song competition with SuRie and her song "Storm". However, her final performance was interrupted by a 'stage invader' (around the 1:40 mark) and while she was able to carry on, she didn't get the votes she needed to win this year. Check out SuRie and the song "Storm" from Eurovision below.
