Did you watch the finale of Lost? I'm still scratching my head from it. Was the island purgatory? Was the flash sideways purgatory? Were they both not purgatory, but some other non-denominational form of purgatory?
I finished the series with more questions than answers, but I figured that's how it would be.
What did you think about the finale? Did you understand the ending? Please discuss.
I was totally disappointed by the finale, after spending all of my friday and saturday catching up on the last 2 seasons I found myself longing for the good old days of seasons 1 and 2. I think that the island was somehow real life (although in season 3 I was beginning to think it was hell or purgatory) and the alter ending life in LA was some kind of waiting area for the afterlife.
