Continuing to prove my theory that 2013 is trying to resurrect the 90's from the dead,
Nine Inch Nails is dropping a new album called Hesitation Marks on September 3rd. But if you, like me, want to listen to the album before you buy it, you can preview the full album on iTunes or at The Guardian in the UK and you can find single tracks on YouTube.
I thought that the new album had some elements that reminded me Downward Spiral and The Fragile at times. But there wasn't one song that got stuck in my head to indicate that it might be the next 'Closer' and there was one track on the album that reminded me more of the early 2000s punk-pop, rather than Nine Inch Nails' trademark industrial goth sounds. As a whole, the album is still angry, but not as angry Nine Inch Nails was in its youth.
