I once visited Cleveland, OH for an Art Therapy conference and was determined to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame while I was there (and I did), but I have never been to Columbus, OH. Today my Sketchbook Project sketchbook is boldly going where I've never been before- it's on tour in Columbus, OH where the Mobile Sketchbook Library will be parked at the Wexner Center for the Arts located at 1871 N. High Street. You can find my sketchbook under call number 220.5-8.
But, if you can't check out my sketchbook in person, here's a preview of pages 16-23 of my Capes, Masks, & Tights sketchbook.

I really wanted to include some watercolor work and was inspired by the desert southwest.
I'm pretty sure that the folks at Marvel were having a laugh when they created the character Man-Thing. Here you see him jumping out of a wedding cake.
In the 1970s and 80s, Hostess started running ads in comic books that were like mini comic strips- only with terrible storylines. I felt like I had to showcase one here. On the right I've created a new nemesis for elastic man.
